MaltiParticipantthats ok Matt, I’ll probably use some of my own pics – if someone wants to offer better pics than mine please I’d be grateful.
Anyways, what do you think of the topics? did I leave something out?
MaltiParticipant
MaltiParticipantfish stuff?
if not I know torrent sites, but dunno if i can mention them here
MaltiParticipantis this radio station available online?
MaltiParticipantif a fish manages to breed, in a couple of generations it will adapt, esp if the difference is very minimal and not sudden.
also fish have the advantage of a very short gestation period, thus compared to other animals their adaptation cycle is much more fast – in 2 months livebearers can breed compared to 12-18 months in dogs and more in other bigger animals.
MaltiParticipantby some how much do u mean?….I don’t need huge numbers.
we’re thinking of importing them…would be me and a couple of friends. whatever you find just send me a pm pls
MaltiParticipantI don’t agree with this…along with betta vases, goldfish globes and other cruelty in a box stuff…
sure it gets more kids interested, but how many will do an ounce of research?
MaltiParticipantany apples except golden/brown, Malaysan Trumpets or normal ramshorns…
maybe blue/purple/other apples, sulawesi, big pond snails…anything actually
MaltiParticipantyep got artemia, but still waiting for it to hatch…I had closed down the fishroom…but can’t keep away from the little buggers…thats why I got almost nothing ready for such tiny fry (the mollies and platies are pigs and don’t count although I give them “supplements” to the fry flakes)
air pressure dunno…and moon could be, but they can’t see it from where they are
MaltiParticipant
MaltiParticipantseeing as this thread has danios…
just found about 20 fry in my community…99.9% they’re leopard danios…didn’t expect any, as I thought you had to do loads of water changes to get them to breed?
well atm I have only microworms to offer, do you think they’re enough?
also, in the tank have a pair of silver dollars – what do few hrs fry look like? cause could be them or the danios, and never saw any of the fry live – although these are very small !, at most being 8hrs old when I found them (from last checking to morning).
MaltiParticipantMost probably Matt, seeing as livebearers are much easier to breed and mix.
MaltiParticipantyou might be right bob…but beggars can’t be choosers, and I got those atm…well I’ll see what comes out
