StupormanMemberHi HH this one is labelled as H. nemurus from Thailand, is it a subadult H. spiloptera perhaps?
Yes, this is H. spilopterus.
StupormanMemberIt would have been easier to change the name to either H. capitulum (if you’re referring to the species commonly found throughout Sundaic Southeast Asia except in Java), or H. spilopterus (for the species found commonly in Indochina).
StupormanMemberYou would probably need to edit the entry for Hemibagrus nemurus as well.

StupormanMemberGot one. Where do I send it?
StupormanMemberI am tending towards A. longifilis based on what I can see (for all of the fish illustrated). A photograph of the view from the front would help greatly.

StupormanMemberWould be informative if you told everyone it’s going to be published in AJE.
StupormanMemberIf past issues of the RBZ Supplement are anything to go by, these would run in the USD80 range.
I could try to purchase some direct from the museum. Anyone up for a mass order?
StupormanMemberThe new species is described as Betta mahachaiensis.
