I’m back from the IGL meeting on the border with B.Miniopina.There is still quite a lot in Germany, and they are different from my wild B.persephone.But I can’t see the red fins they had on my pairs 15 years ago.I have to let them settle and rest

I think he means Betta Uberis. As for Betta Rubra we have lots of males and few females. When the weather will be better we can arrange something or contact Torben on that forum.
Which B.Uberis do you have? the green one,the blue one or the red one?

[For 3 days the BBs are too big even the tiny san Francisco Bay.The banana worms are also too big I only use infusorias then normal food, but never dry food.

I have kept eggs of S.magnificus over a year before getting them to hatch.Mostly they hatch after 4 months at 25°C.Tiny fry need infusoria as first food for 3/4 days then all live food as usual for fry.

In Paris France Olivier Perrin caught this fish more than 10 years ago and since is breeding them.I have movie and pics from him but I’m not allowed to share them, some of his pics and description of the breeding way was in the Kottelat description. He told me he lost many fish when breeding them with BBs so now he is using only microworms and vinegar eels.It seems that the fish dies if kept at temperature above 28/30 more than a few days.
I gave a try for a few months and lost the fish in summer 2006 when it was so hot in France.
Since I gave up that fish too complicated .
