Species profile problems

Site improvements

Seriously Fish is undergoing some improvements to its interface, primarily with a view to making loading times and general use of the site significantly quicker. E-mails weren’t sending correctly, meaning passwords couldn’t be reset etc. This should now be resolved. The Forums weren’t working as intended and were causing slowdowns to the entire site. The software being […]

The dwarf pike cichlid known to aquarium hobbyists as Crenicichla sp. cf. regani ‘Xingu’ for more than two decades is described as C. anamiri Ito & Rapp Py-Daniel 2015 in the latest issue of the journal ‘Neotropical Ichthyology’.

New snakehead is well-known in aquarium hobby

The snakehead that has been known to aquarium hobbyists as Channa sp. ‘Assam’, C. sp. ‘Lal Cheng’ or C. sp. ‘blue bleheri’ for a number of years is named C. andrao in the journal ‘Zootaxa’ this week.
