Erethistes

Erethistes maesotensis is a small erethistid catfish known only from a single tributary of the Salween River on the border of Myanmar and Thailand. It lives in shallow, fast-flowing water over rocks and spends much of its time buried in the substrate or hiding in caves. Its outwardly pointing pectoral-fin denticles lead many experts to place it in Hara, though it is still officially included in Erethistes.
