Wallaciia

The compressiceps dwarf pike cichlid, Wallaciia compressiceps, is a small pike cichlid known only from the lower Rio Tocantins basin in Brazil. It swims a great deal and can be very quick and very aggressive, so it needs a larger aquarium than its size suggests, and anything half its size will be seen as food. A number of hobbyists have found it very difficult to spawn without target fish in the aquarium.
