Duthawadi

Sometimes called the 'Hora danio' or 'Salween danio', Inlecypris shanensis is a small cyprinid from Shan state, Myanmar. Known from the Duthawadi and Salween river systems, it is most easily confused with 'I.' maetaengensis and Devario interruptus, and differs in having a P stripe that is not broken into a series of blotches. It has been collected from fast-flowing streams with clear water and substrates of rocks, pebbles and sand.
