Loricariids of the Middle Xingu River, 2nd Edition
The German publishing firm ‘Panta Rhei’ is about to print an updated second edition of the popular book ‘Loricariids of the Middle Xingu River’ by Mauricio Camargo, Heriberto Gimênes Junior, and Lúcia Helena Rapp Py-Daniel.
After the first edition sold out faster than expected the decision was taken to produce an updated version with lots more images and additional text. While the first book was published in Portuguese and English this one will be in German and English.
The book contains detailed distribution maps and collecting locations for all known species plus superb images of the fishes and their biotopes. All diagnostic characters will also be included.
All-in-all it will comprise 304 full-color pages with over 500 images.
The book will be sized at 21 x 21 cm and is available for preorder at a price of 39,95 EUR (incl. 7% VAT plus shipping costs) via the Panta Rhei website.
